Lu Cong (born 1978) is a Chinese-American portrait artist and illustrator. Upon graduating from the University of Iowa in 2000, Lu Cong moved to Denver and taught himself to paint in oils in an effort to postpone attending medical school. Lu Cong currently lives and paints in Denver with his wife Laura.[Oil on panel, 48 x 48 inches]
